Using Instagram from Safari

Do you love using instagram but want to use video editing software? Or maybe you are managing IG accounts for others and have hit the max on your phone?

Here’s how to use Safari to spoof the phone version of Instagram!

Setup

1. Open Safari and go to Instagram
2. Click on the word “Safari” on the top bar
3. Click on “Preferences” in the dropdown menu
4. Click on “Advanced” in the next menu
5. Click the checkbox that says “Show Develop Menu in Menu Bar”

Using Safari like a phone

1. Open Safari and go to Instagram
2. Click on the word “Develop” in top menu bar
3. Hover over the word “User Agent” in the dropdown menu
4. Pick what you want the interface to be (iphone, ipod, windows, etc) and click it.
